CANAL CONNECTING DAY RIVER AND NINH CO RIVER IN NAM DINH - CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN THƯƠNG MẠI VẬN TẢI QUỐC TẾ THÀNH NAM

One kilometer of canal connecting Day River – Ninh Co has a total investment of over 100 million USD (2,300 billion VND), meeting ships of 2,000-3,000 tons, and is about to be completed after more than two years of construction.

Project parameters: Total length from Ninh Co River to Day River is more than 900 m. The canal has a width of 90 m and an average depth of 10-11 m. The safe water level in the lock reaches a depth of 7m. Width 17m.

The canal project connecting the Day – Ninh Co River is considered the largest boat lock built in Vietnam at the present time.

The project is expected to be completed and put into operation at the end of 2023. This is the premise for strong development in the near future of Nam Dinh province. To help solve the problem of loading and transporting goods from Ninh Binh Province to the whole country.
